Local Musicians: Mind Powers

Mind Powers is a trio made a up of Johnathan Sawyer (aka Gadget), Brad Gilbert, and our longtime friend Spenser Payne.
They just released their first EP, Ampeaters: Vol. 1 of 1, consisting of six songs. hard hitting drums, daisy-chained fuzz boxes, and one of a kind screams. The lyrical content stretches from wanting to be the 'very best' Pokemon trainer in "Skullkraken" to harsher songs like "Fuck Circle," which describes an outsider's perspective on the grim reality of sharing sex partners.
